Under Pokemon Platinum News
Well. We before all thought that Shaymin would change into the new Sky Forme when on Platinum. However this is incorrect. The Blue Sky Blog as posted pictures and information showing that you can get a Key Item called “Glacidia’s Flower” which can be found in “Floaroma Town”. On Platinum it will allow you to switch the forme of Shaymin back and forwards as many times as you wish.
Serebii stated that this may create battling and trading issues between Pokemon Diamond and Pearl with Pokemon Platinum. Which I agree with, as the Shaymin Sky forme is not programmed into Pokemon Diamond and Pearl.
Also this as made myself think about the Giratina Origin forme. As the pictures showing the hero battling it in the Origin forme. Does this mean there might be an item for Giratina also? Maybe like we thought about Shaymin changing when traded Giratina changes forme when on Diamond and Pearl, and Pearl. I guess we will just have to wait and see until more information comes through.

Under Pokemon Platinum News
Sorry I have not updated for the June News. However I have been on vacation and I have been extremely busy since I got back. However. Now I am back to where I was. I can add all the June News before July comes. So here it is:
06/06/08: A Pokemon Blog that is about Pokemon Figures noticed that on the official Pokemon website was some merchandise added when the Pokemon Festa information was updated. It was the following image:
As you can see. On our left side of Pikachu is a Shaymin looking Pokemon. At first people where wondering if it could possibly be a new Pokemon. However it is most probably Shaymins new form. The blog that found this information is here:

Also I am guessing that the image is from the official Pokemon website. So this was an accidental leak from Pokemon themselves.
07/06/08: Serebii reported that a Shaymin picture was being posted around the Japanese image boards. If you look at the picture below. It does look like a better picture of the Shaymin on the merchandise that was leaked. This image may be real, it may be fake:
08/06/08: The Japanese blog “Blue Sky” got images of some new Pokemon Badges. If you look. There is yet another picture of the Shaymin Sky Forme. We can now definitely say that this is the new Shaymin forme.
10/06/08: The first of the CoroCoro scans come in. They are small scans so not to much information can be read or seen. However it does confirm that there is a new Shaymin Sky Forme. There is also images of the Ruby and Sapphire Regis on these scans. Hinting that they may be available in the new game. The blog Blue Sky also found that the Regis are available only with the Japanese Movie Event Regigigas. Which may or may not change outside of Japan. They also discovered that there will be two new characters to be put into the new game. There purpose, name, and appearance is unknown as of yet. There’s a new area called Torn World and the new Shaymin forme is Grass/Flying.
More information should be revealed as bigger scans come in.
11/06/08: Some clearer pictures we’re found around the Image Boards. Also the following information as been confirmed:
- Shaymin on Platinum will be in the Sky Forme. When transferred to Diamond and Pearl it will be the normal forme. Like Deoxys in FireRed, LeafGreen, and Emerald.
- There are more places to explore around the Sinnoh region.
- The new place. The Torn World. Is in 3D Isometric graphics. It is found above the Spear Pillar.
- The new characters are there because of the climate change in the region. Which explains why the heroes have new warmer clothes.

About The Regis
In August. There will be a event in Japan. Giving away a Regigigas. When this Regigigas is traded to Platinum when released it will activate the events for the other Regis. Like in Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald you will be able to obtain all three normal Regis. They are all in some sort of cave, at level 30.

Well today. Bulbagarden have created an article about the use of the word form. By form we mean the way they are using it for all these new Pokemon forms. I myself have been wondering for a couple of days now if it should be form or forme. Most people suggested that the English translation would be form.
However if you look at the Official Pokemon Websites Pokedex. Look at Deoxy’s, it shows it in all forms and the words are as follows: Deoxy’s Attack Forme, Defence Forme, Speed Forme. Yes, with an “e”. Now I checked Giratina and the new forme as not been added yet. However Bulbagarden, and I too myself believe that it would be forme for all the new forme Pokemon. So from now. I suppose I will be using the word forme instead of form.
It also appers that the word forme come up as a spelling mistake on these WordPress blogs spell checker. The again so does WordPress.

Under Pokemon Platinum Rumors+ Pokemon Platinum Unconfirmed News
Well I said before that it is rumored that people who pre-order the game Pokemon Platinum are meant to get a special Aipom. Well apparently this is actually meant to be the Pokemon Shinx. Also as PokeCommunity members found Volt Tackle news on Pokemon Diamond and Pearl. Fans are suggesting that Shinx will have the move Volt Tackle.
However this is not confirmed. They may be a Pokemon, they may not. It might be neither Aipom nor Shinx. From what I have been looking at. There is nothing to really add. I don’t think that anymore Pokemon Platinum Information will be released until the next issue of CoroCoro magazine. I have found the official Sugimori art for the new Giratina form:
I have also taken the screenshot of Giratina and cut it out in Paint and made the background transparent in GIMP. I am unsure if I will be showing the sprite yet. I have just made it and it’s past three in the moring here. So wait until tommrow so I can check the sprite and possibly make a shiny version. I made it because the other members forgotten the shadow. I thought it will be nice to make one myself.

Under Pokemon Platinum Fakes
Well in a quite short time of like less then 24 hours. A possible Shaymin picture was posted around the Internet. Everyone was warned that they are most probably fakes. Also Serebii used a member called PurpleKecleon as an example that fakes can be made. PurpleKecleon made some Pokemon Diamond and Pearl fakes before they we’re released.
The funny thing is PurpleKecleon was the artist who created this new fake image. The image was not created apparently to fool everyone into believing it is a new Shaymin form. It was based on the description that was reported on PokeBeach. She made the image and then printed it out on gloss paper and took a photograph of her holding it. Which makes it look real in my opinion: Here is the pictures;
Well they are the first fakes that have been rumored to be official Pokemon Platinum. I am sure there are many more to come our way.

Under Pokemon Platinum Rumors+ Pokemon Platinum Unconfirmed News
Here is a list of all the rumors that are indeed meant to be features in the Pokemon Platinum game. Some are based on what the CoroCoro magazine shows. Some maybe complete rubbish that have been made up or assumed are features. These have not been 100% confirmed.
- Giratina will be featured as the main Pokemon being on the Box/Cartridge art.
- Platinum will be released in Autumn, meant to be a September release.
- Sinnoh Underground will be WiFi enables worldwide.
- The game will have sort of “Battle Island” like Battle Frontier in Pokemon Emerald.
- New Forms exist for the Pokemon Giratina, Shaymin, and Regigigas.
Forms
- Giratina - Origin Form.
- Shaymin - Another Form.
- Regigigas - Sky Form.
It is also rumored that Giratina and Regigigas will have the ability levitate. Also it is rumored that Shaymin may at least me part Ice Type. I have heard Ice Form going around. Credit goes to slowkingsley for translations from CoroCoro.
There fore from reading the above. Giratine, Shaymin, and Regigigas are available in game to get. Before Giratine and Regigigas we’re available anyway. Where Shaymin was via event. This is something strange to me. I cannot see why they would add a secret event Pokemon into the game. Shaymin was only officially released a couple of months ago. All will be in alternative forms.
Also as Giratina takes a role in the game’s storyline. There is meant to be a place called Inverse Universe. Which you are meant to be able to explore.
Also the two main heroes have new clothes. Lucas the male trainer as a Silver clothing apparently (even though they look blue) which hints that there are possible Pokemon Gold and Silver remakes. Which I myself personally do not agree with.
On a certain blog post. It as been translated that there may be evidence of alternative clothing. Where you can change your clothes. Like I said may be a possibility in one of my earlier posts. I actually suggested it before I found this information.
The same blog also says that if you pre-order the game. You will get and exchange ticket in which you can obtain the Pokemon Aipom which will be in a event/precious PokeBall and will have a special skill? Hmm possible event give away in Japan?
Same source: A relative of the Battle Frontier owner Scott (Pokemon Emerald) is rumored to be featured in the Pokemon Garden Theme Park. I don’t have a clue what any of this about to be honest.
It is also rumored. I think we can say this is more or less true. More detailed information will be revealed in the next issue of CoroCoro magazine.

Under Pokemon Platinum News
Well. I thought I would catch up and make an article on what English language websites have announced. We will start from the day Pokemon Platinum was found on the Internet. We will the add anything up until now. I will make another article with all extra information after.
11th May 2008: The first scan of the Pokemon Platinum from a Japanese Magazine CoroCoro. This scan itself shows that the game will be called (Pokemon Platina) which Platina meaning Platinum in Japanese translation. This scan being not to good also shows Giratina. It appears to be in another form. This form is known as the “origin form”. We can also see that the make trainer is also now wearing a blue jacket. Which would mean they have new clothes or possibly clothes are changeable. (This is not confirmed. Just a possibility that is most probably un-true. They are more likely just new clothing colors.) We can also see that Giratine appears to be in the place where Dialga and Palkia would be in Diamond and Pearl. You can actually see them both behind Giratina. Here is the scan.
13th May 2008: A higher resolution scan of the previous scan as been discovered. Showing that the Japanese release of the game should be released in Autumn of 2008. It also shows that Giratina’s alternative form the origin form as presence in the game. Here are two better quality scans:
15th May 2008: The picture of the trainer about to battle the Giratina origin form as been released on a separate picture. It is highly clear and members of the Pokemon World have actually been able to cut the image out to make the sprite of the Pokemon. There is also a clear picture of the Giratine with the Dialga and Palkia in the background. These we’re added the the official Japanese Pokemon website. They are the ones from the CoroCoro scan. These are the three main features that have been posted around the Internet. I hope I have explained them correctly and most detailed for you. Now I will go and discover what features, and discussions have been announced and look for any more confirmed news.

Under Pokemon Platinum News
Well I guess not a new region. Well… Welcome to the Pokemon Platinum Blog. Today is the official launch of the Pokemon Platinum fan website and blog. As you may no. I am known as BlueEew the owner of PokeProject Forums and Website. As recently a new Pokemon game as been announced. I have decided to make an new website and blog on the subject.
I will be gathering all information on Pokemon Platinum and posting it here in the blog. Other the course of the next few months we will be un-covering all the information, news, and rumors on the game. Platinum as been expected for a while now. Most large and small Pokemon communities out there have already decided that the Pokemon game will be featuring Giratina as the staring Pokemon. However I think there was a little surprise. The name. Most people thought that the game was going to be called Pokemon opal. I guess that was wrong.
Now the game as been announced. Information will start coming in regularary and we will be looking at everything that comes our way. Basically when something as been found, we will discuss it here on the blog. There are many categories. For the true, untrue, and waiting to be confirmed information. When information as been proven 100% true and legit it will be added to the main website. Next I will be adding all real information and news that as been released to catch up with everything. From then on we will be able to go along as the new stuff comes out.
